The 2nd IEEE Conference on Healthcare Informatics, Imaging, and Systems Biology will be held at UCSD, La Jolla, California, from September 27-28, 2012. We invite national and international healthcare informatics, imaging, and systems biology communities to HISB.
Attendees should come prepared with their best ideas to meet colleagues in an exciting, small footprint scientific meeting (attendance will be limited to 200 registrants plus invited guests). The conference emphasizes cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing, so thematic tracks are not parallel, offering all the opportunity to learn topics in which they do not specialize, but to which they get exposure to help contextualize research and inspire new interdisciplinary ideas. Tutorials and workshops help complete a program featuring top quality scientific presentations from the latest scientific developments (the most innovative will be invited for journal publications), panel presentations, and invigorating keynote presentations from science leaders. Come help us create a joint vision for how computation on Big Data can change the way we design the future of computation in healthcare and biomedical sciences through health informatics, imaging, and systems biology!
