New CVRG Website, Portal & Datasets are live!

October 21, 2011

The CardioVascular Research Grid announced today the launch of a new website, portal and collection of cardiovascular datasets. The portal features cloud implementations of XNAT, ECGrid Toolkit and Galaxy. A human ExVivo heart data set and canine ExVivo normal and failing heart data sets are now available.

The canine hearts have an atlas available, in Analyze 7.5 format. There are also human InVivo atlases, in Analyze 7.5 format, showing end systole and end diastole data.

To access the live tool demonstrations, click on the 'Portal' link at the top of this page. To access datasets and their documentation, go to the 'data' tab on the CVRG website menu and click on 'Available Datasets'. The ECGrid Toolkit, Galaxy and XNAT-CVI have tutorial movies to guide you through their use. User guides are available in the CVRG wiki for all the demonstration tools listed. Surveys for feedback will be available soon.
