Minimum Information About a Cardiac Electrophysiology Experiment (MICEE)

MICEE is a set of guidelines for reporting methods and1 data from cardiac electrophysiology experiments. Following these guidelines will help assure that experimental results can be verified, clearly interpreted, and analyzed by the scientific community. Proposed guidelines are available at www.micee.org. This site can be used to view the schema and comment on it through discussion threads. The site also supports entry of information about experiments, and entries can be linked to published papers via Pubmed ID and other documents using a Digital Object Identifier. MICEE can be searched to find entries. Users may request an account by going to the MICEE site. Use of MICEE should be acknowledged as “Development of MICEE is supported by the NHLBI Cardiovascular Research Grid Project (R24HL085343)”. Contact Dr. Raimond Winslow rwinslow@jhu.edu for additional details.
