RD-Switchboard: Find Connections to Your Data - Amir Aryani

Abstract

Research Data Switchboard (RD-Switchboard) is a collaborative project initiated by Australian National Data Service (ANDS) as part of the Data Description Registry Interoperability (DDRI) working group of the Research Data Alliance. RD-Switchboard addresses the problem of cross platform discovery by connecting datasets together across multiple registries on the basis of co-authorship or other collaboration models such as joint funding and grants.

In this webinar, Dr. Amir Aryani will give a brief presentation on this collaborative project, and answer the question: "how can universities and research institutions discover their datasets or connections to works by their researchers without manually searching in Google?"
