Demonstrations

The CVRG has applied specialized tools to different areas of data capture and analysis. In the Tool Demonstrations, there are recordings of tool demonstrations and presentations on tools. Accompanying the demonstrations are links to documentation on the tools, including user guides and installation instructions.

ECGrid Toolkit

  • A narrated demonstration movie of the application can be found below:
    • ECGrid Toolkit Demo: In the narrated movie, we demonstrate storage, analysis, analysis retrieval and annotation of ECG waveforms. We show how the user is able to log into the CVRG ECG Gadget and store ECG data. This data is then able to be analyzed by two open-source ECG analysis algorithms. The results of these analyses are downloadable in CSV format, for the user to view/further analyze within spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel). The user is also able to annotate the ECG waveforms with concepts from the ECG Ontology, available from the National Center for Biomedical Ontologies (NCBO) BioPortal. These annotations are stored, for retrieval the next time the user logs in the system.
